ABOUT FORREST AMES LIFESTYLE
MERRITT GROTHE, NSCA-CPT
Space Designer and Personal Trainer
Design: Merritt grew up among a household of creatives with her mother, an interior designer and her father, a contractor and craftsman. Inventing her own beautiful spaces is something that she has always been passionate about and over the years casually helped friends and family do the same. The next step was to formally put the process in place of assisting others with design outside of her own home.
Fitness: Merritt Grothe obtained her Personal Training Certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CPT) in 2006. Today, illuminate Fitness, a division of FAL, has evolved into a multi-faceted training group. Merritt believes her job as a fitness professional is to get to know people and educate them with longevity in mind. Facilitating effective workouts is important but helping people find the motivation to continue an active lifestyle is key.
Pulling it all together: Forrest Ames Lifestyle was created with the purpose of facilitating an environment where people can find a little more JOY in their day-to-day. Whether that’s by motivating people to move their bodies or helping them create beautiful spaces, a little can go a long way.
Forrest Ames Lifestyle offers design services that are available at an hourly rate with retail discounts on most items for purchase throughout the duration of a project (see list of services for more information). illuminate Fitness includes coaching through LIVE and virtual personal training, LIVE (reservation only) boot camps and FREE online Instagram and YouTube workouts.
